Ok, its either a French or Italian movie, located in either Paris, Rome, or Venice. It has to do with this guy trying to find his daughter who went missing while she was wearing a red coat or something. And throughout the movie he chases this girl in a red coat all through some city, although it ends up being some psycho midget or psycho old short woman. Not sure what the movies name was but I saw it a long time ago and want to watch it again but not sure what the name is.

The movie is Don't Look Now (1973). It was set in Venice, and infamous for having "real" sex scenes between Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie.
