Anyone have any info on this new movie The Butterfly Effect?

There is another thread in here about 3 pages back for this movie. All I know about it is that it stars Ashton Koosher (as Don Vito calls him) and it has a pretty good plot revolving around changing the past...maybe. The only thing I remember vividly from the trailer is Ethan Suplee (the huge racist from American History X as well as Boy Meets World and the Shit Demon from Dogma) with a mohawk.

He was only the voice of the shit demon. He played a more prominent role in Mallrats, and was in a couple scenes in Chasing Amy.

Obviously. Wasn't the shit demon CGI?
His scenes in Mallrats are pretty damn funny.

No. It was only CGI when it shot the shit missle at them. All the other times it was a guy in a suit. Several, actually. According to the commentary, one of them passed out so they had to get a different one.

Nice. I wonder what it's like to have "Shit Demon" on your resume.

Can't be any worse than having 'Gigli' on your resumé. ZING!

Ah, but I also zinged Pacino and Walken, who is one of my favorite actors (I wish I could do that voice, I would talk like that all the time), so it's all in good fun.

I saw the trailer for it on the Freddy vs Jason DVD, and all I can say is that it doesn't look like a horror in the least bit.

As you haven't seen it yet, you can't answer this. WHY IN THE HELL WERE THEY IN THIS MOVIE??? Walken barely walks through a scene and Pacino has no more than a cameo. I can't believe they agreed to come anywhere near this monstrosity.

Maybe it was kind of a mutual dare thing.
"Hey, did you get the Gigli script?"
"Yeah. Hey, I dare you to be in it."
"No, way, you do it."
"Come on, I dare ya."
"Only if you do, too."
"Fiiiine."
It's only funny if you picture Walken saying every other line.

That is pretty funny. I can only hope that's why they did it.
