While on a holiday in the Ukraine I happened to fall into a movie on tv that blew my mind. I do not remember much.
There was a long scene about a (6 or 8) horse drawn carriage that was followed by flying female vampires. Spectacular shots when they go over a bridge. It is somewhere at that point that the hero gets bitten. The hero manages to get through and eventually comes into a place where he steps through a transparant wall into a winter landscape. Towards the end he comes with his female helper in a huge castle where both get attacked by monsters and all kinds of vampires. The female helper gets killed. In the last scene the hero stands off the cost of what seems to be Scotland ...
Not much I'm afraid, but the film was with Russian voice overs and was cut at the end, so I did not get any additionasl info.
Thanx for helping out.

Thanx all of you. I put Van Helsing in Google images, and YEP!!!
Well ... I may not visit the forum very often. You are nice people, helping me out and all, but I have a minus kind of bloodpressure and tend to be aneamic. Which, I guess, does not give me a high rating in your world.

I never watched it, I thought I'd be depressed from how crap it seamed....

oh right. i mistook your original curiosity to name the film as a strong yearning to see a cgi crap-fest. glad we're on the same page.

that gave me funny thought. if i didn't respect all my horror brothers and sisters on this site i'd start posting thread's, asking for help naming awful movies like: american werewolf in paris, touristas, the cell, etc. then oozing over them like i had caught a glimpse of brilliance, but couldn't remember the name of the film.
