I can't believe that they are actually going to remake this. At least I know they can only do better. The original was horrible, even for a seventies film.

It was a piece of shit, so it could be a good re-make, maybe...

It was actually 1986. :p

Yeah, I figured I was wrong the second I posted it. Love the pic by the way. April Fool's Day is going to come out in 2009. I watched Connan O'Brien and he was talking with Scout Taylor-Compton about it. He seems to always get obscure films on there.

Thanks, Hicks is my Idol. April Fools Day was a shitty 80's movie, but I have a soft spot for 80's slasher cinema. A lot of people around here hated RZ's Halloween, but I loved it. Scout was killer as Laurie - IMO. ;)

I didn't think the original was horrible. Not great, but not that bad. A remake is a terrible idea though. The ending was the only good thing about the movie, and now everyone knows the ending.

I liked it a lot. :o

But i'm more curious than negative about this remake. Could be good.

It could be good, but I'm kind of doubting it because of how the ending in the original was. It would be kind of like doing a remake of Star Wars. You already know that Vader is Luke's father.

Yeah I forgot about the ending. I guess that it would be like reading a book backwards. Just not as great cus you already know the ending, but I still think that it was terrible. The acting was pretty bad from what I remeber. Maybe I'll watch it again to see if I can stomach it.

I liked it as well. Its no masterpiece or anything, but I think it is fun.

I also have a love for '80s slasher films, the good ones, the bad ones. These were the horror films I grew up with dammit.....:D

A remake, well, I don't really see the point, but at the same time, I am not upset, or particularly negative about it. They are remaking everything, after all, and this one wasn't exactly influential, or groundbreaking. So I don't have a problem with a remake, except that its just so......unnecessary.

God damnit!!!! I fucking hate it when they do this shit!

I love the original! Such a nice twist, but for the love of god they should stop doing remakes!

I saw the trailer, it looked about as bad as something I'd film. That's very.
