Hello to everybody. I just stumbled across the board today and I'm really happy to be joining up. I've been a horror fan for-EV-er (I saw The Exorcist at the theater when I was four years old!) and I'm always happy to find like-minded fans.

I'm also a horror writer, and I'm just starting to dip my toes into the wild world of self-publishing, so I'll probably be shamelessly promoting myself elsewhere on the board. I've had stories in a few anthologies: "Cold Flesh," "Book of More Flesh," "Brainchild: A Collection of Artifacts" and the upcoming "History is Dead." I tend to write a lot of zombie fiction. They get to me more than anything else in horror (except demon possession...that stuff creeps me out bad).

I'm looking forward to getting to know you guys. :D

Saw The Exorcist in the theatre when you were 4? Must have been the worst ran cinema ever if they were letting kids in :p

Well, my dad was with me...maybe he snuck me in under his coat like contraband candy or something. All I remember is being very glad when a woman with huge 70s hair sat down in front of me.

EEK:eek: .....that would have been scarier than anything on-screen.

Well, it did make it easier for me to keep my fingers plugged into my ears when ol' Mercedes got to rumbling, since I didn't have to keep my hands over my eyes anymore.

And remember the way theaters used to be...none of that stadium seating stuff. If a tall person sat in front of you and you're a kid, you were just boned.
