Which one of these early Craven exploitation flicks do you prefer?
I gotta go with Last House myself, it really disturbed me when I was young. It was one of the first horror movies that I can remember thinking wow that shit could happen right up the street and we probaly wouldn't even notice. Well give it a vote and well see what the majority thinks.

Tough one. I'm torn between my love for David Hess and Michael Berryman. Hess wins for his brillaint performance as Krug. But The Hills Have Eyes is a better movie, IMO.

Didn't Barryman pass away not long ago?

I just saw his back in August so I don't think so. I never heard anything about it either. Hope you're wrong this time Aylmer.
Also, he's got a new movie coming out soon.

Both of these are great movies, I'm going to have to go with The Hills Have Eyes. One thing I really didn't like in Last House on the Left is that they tried to inject too much offsetting comedy in a film that would have turned out better if it was strictly serious.

Sorry Avenger it was David Hemmings who died, the guy from "Deep Red" don't ask how I got that confused. Must have been reading something about Hills that day too, or I had a retard sandwich for lunch and have no idea what I'm talking about. What about Hills 2? I remember seeing it once but can't remeber a thing about it. Is it worth me watching again?

Read the thread about Hills Have Eyes in the modern flick forum. It eventually gets on the topic of part 2. That should answer your question.
Retard sandwich, I like that one.

Yeah sounds like I don't need to see PT2 that bad. Although the idea of repressed memories of a dog, I'm assuming "The Beast", sounds like must see TV.

Yeah, I guarantee it's the first dog flashback ever filmed. Craven said he made the movie just to cash in on the title cuz he needed the money. I would rent it if I was you just to get a laugh out of it.
