Hi!

Hope everyone has a great Labor day weekend!

Relax and watch some good horror movies.

I plan to watch:

The Blob - Steve McQueen
The Evil Of Frankenstein
This Island earth
I Walked With A Zombie
Relic
Phantasm

and of course Dracula's Daughter

Have a relaxing and safe holiday!

As you can see from my signature, I am ready to have some fun too!

What will you be watching this weekend? Huh!

It creeps, and leaps, and slides and glides across the floor.....and through--the door and all around the floor, a splotch, a blotch, be careful of.....THE BLOB!!!

Love that movie.

I'm going to check out Halloween too, I can't call myself a true horror fan if I don't keep an open mind about things. However, if it sucks, Rob Zombie will lose any respect I have for him. You don't ruin a classic that didn't need to be remade in the first place and then say, "oops! I made a boo boo! That is NOT what I was going for!!!"

The original Halloween was very good. But sequel, after sequel, after sequel is too much! Spare me.

I'm going to watch the Blob ( the original one) this weekend. Check out my thread on the general forum on the movies I will be watching this weekend and let me know what you are going to watch.

Have a great Labor Day weekend.

I usually don't know what I'm going to watch until I pick it, so sitting down and planning was a pretty interesting experience for me lol.....

I want to watch:
Rock N Roll Nightmare
Caveman with Ringo Starr
The ORIGINAL Dawn Of The Dead
Heavy Metal (love the soundtrack)
The Butcher Boy
and, last but not least,
Kill Bill 1&2.
And maybe Rocky 3, just for Thunderlips.

That's what I'm going to do, and that's how I feel about it.

I don't think I'll like it, it sounds terrible, but I will support its opening weekend and I will give it a fair chance, for old times' sake, by golly!

Heck, why not?

I agree with you there. I'm going to watch the "Workprint" tonight though. We'll see how this goes over....

Zombie, if you screwed this up, you are the worst movie director in history. This will be your last film among many horror fans, shall it fail.

Well, anyway. I am going to spend (ahem) the REST of the weekend watching some more traditional horror films. (THE BLOB maybe?) Bride of Frankenstein, Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, maybe a little Twilight Zone in there, maybe a cartoon or two.
