The Dude from Big Lebowski, that or Michael Myers in the institution from Rob's Halloween, I don't feel like shaving down to a goatee, so if I get an orange mask I'll be that, they both require the same clothes, just switch out the glasses for the mask.

I don't know, I was thinking about trying a good Ash with chainsaw and all but I may just go out and buy an 80's outfit. I'd just be that 80's guy.

I was always a hippie or a uhh freshly dead person (I have this long sleeve white t shirt whith a huge hole cut out the front & in place of the huge hole is a rubber thing that shows ribs, organs, & lots of blood. I'd blacken my eyes, spray my hair black & put fake scars on my neck, with lots of blood & a few scars in other places with lots of blood.) Since I have a little kid now, I will be a hippie, until that other costume won't terrify him to death. & I know it will terrify him, cuz it terrifies every little kid. MAn that was awesome.

Unfortunately because of the lit room + camera flash the mask looks quite bright white and the suit looks bright blue, but when its dark it is ridiculously creepy. Last year I had kids in the street crying when they saw me. (When I went on Halloween pub crawls...not trick or treating...I'm 22 lol).

*sigh* Unfortunately i havent been able to dress up for halloween in 4 years as ive been working at a haunted house. I sometimes go to this halloween block party they have here and thats the closest i can get to dressing up on halloween. Although the plus of that is the make up artists at the haunted house i work at do my make up if i provide the costume. Last year i was a zombie clown. This year im not sure if ill have the oppourtunity to even make it out out any where in costume unless its for promotional purposes. Although technically i can say that i celebrate halloween and dress up 3 - 7 days a week for a month and a half celebrating halloween. :P

Every year we dress up and go to 80's night at a local club, it's a blast, your costume would be perfect. Last year I went as a vampiress and my husband was Joe Dirt and we got my friend Mike to dress up as a redneck woman, it was hillarious.
I have no clue for this year .......Last year I wanted a group of us to dress as The Devil's Rejects but not everyone would participate, it would have been perfect. No I have to start planning:rolleyes:

Sounds like fun, I'm leaning more and more toward that costume.
Group costumes suck sometimes, I keep trying to get a group of us to dress up like the cast of Reno 911 heh.

That would be great! The guy we got to dress up like a woman I originally wanted him to be the guy from Reno 911 w/ the short shorts and the mustache, he kinda looks like him. Maybe this year I can get him to do it!
I need some thing original this year hmmmmmm......

Group costumes can be a pain in the ass. A few of us tried to go as the Traveling Wilburys, but nobody wanted to be Jeff Lynde or Tom Petty. One I've always wanted to try out is a group of people going as Count Chocula, the Fruity Yummy Mummy and Frankenberry and somebody else going as the Hugh Jackman Van Helsing.
Last year a few of us were gonna do "The Village People".......but we couldn't get a sixth to complete.

I'm glad you like my costume. I was dressed as an elderly Granny. With the vampire fangs and red lips and a coffin shaped purse, I should make a great Dracula's daughter.

I bought a Michael mask a few years ago too, ran around $50 I think... I worse it for a couple Halloweens and it's always great to have around for a backup incase of an impromtu Halloween party.
I can't wear a mask......drives me fucking crazy....not to mention it makes it real tough to enjoy a beer. Even this was too much and I had to take it off after about an hour.

Yeah I know what you mean, but my Myers mask isnt actually too hot/annoying. To solve the drinking problem, I used a straw (which I put up the nose of the mask and down to my mouth). Everyone got a kick out of that, especially when I was doing shots through a straw. :p
My Darth Vader helmet is annoying though, gets really hot and the eye parts steam up so I cant see shit. It's cool though, I hooked up a Darth Vader breathing noise maker to the mouth piece and wired the remote through the costume to my hand so I could go around sounding like him, with the sound actually coming from the mouth piece.
Sad I know lol. I think if you're going to get dressed up for a Fancy Dress/Halloween party you might as well try and be the best there!

I havn't started working on mine yet, but I was thinking of going with something simple enough this year. I was thinking maybe Dave Lister from Red Dwarf or Spike from Buffy The Vampire Slayer, both of which should be easy enough to pull off.

Well, since I've finally pulled off my weight loss scheme and gotten down to pre baby weight, I'm going to get something short and sleeveless because last year I had the bride of Satan costume with the full hoop skirt and it was a HUGE pain in the ass. My friend wanted all of us to go to Maui for the party in Lahaina on Halloween dressed like Spartans, but with the new bartending job that's gonna be impossible.
DAMN YOU APPLE HILL!!!!

Actually the Granny costume that I am wearing ( and is being converted to a vampire) has a 115" hoopskirt.
It is a royal pain in the ass!
Next year I may go as the Invisible Man!

The hardest thing about the hoopskirt is going through small passageways and pottying!
But it's fun anyway.
But to be invisible would be great! No hassel dressing! Wow!
