I'm a female gamer but I think that just makes me highly sought after :P
In all seriousness though, I don't think gaming really makes you a geek anymore unless you're obsessing and playing WoW for days at a time.

I saw that exact flowchart over 6 years ago, so dont be too alarmed at anything on it that isnt terribly conteporary.
I write horror and have not been published, where do i fit in?

I am pure geek; I am geek distilled to 198 proof (1% is water.... which is weird)
I play video games,
I program for fun (and a living)
I write horror
I played D&D in high school
I played Magic The Gathering out of high school
I dressed up for halloween until I was 20
I painted lead minatures (refer back to D&D)
And I collected Comic books well into high school.
More to be added later.
