Unless I'm mistaken (impossible), Troll 2 is infamous for taking place in a...place...called Nilbog. That's all I know about it.

Nilbog...my god, it's goblin spelled backward. Great movie.
Ticks is ok, and Mosquito (if it's the Gunnar Hansen version) is funny as all hell.

I meant great as in so bad it's funny great. Don't want you to get confused and think it's a classic. I like it b/c it's terrible.
Mosquito is also good for the same reason. It does have the living incarnation of Chef from South Park in it though.

If you liked Troll 1 b/c it was cheesy, you will LOVE Troll 2.

Hmmmm....I don't know. I think I get a boner everytime I see a Dan O'bannon flick but that's just me.:)

here's a sample of how brilliantly awesome the movie is.
2 prisoners have escaped, they meet some mobsters who are helping them, thanks to an idea that Prisoner B has made. Prisoner A is the main character. They banter, wait for the ominous 'him', Prisoner A picks a fight with them. Lead Mobster ends up getting shot in the head by PA. He comes back as a zombie. After a bunch of shooting by PA and the other mobsters, Zombie Mobster goes down. Newly Lead Mobster looks at the corpse and thinks mightily hard, tapping his temple etc. He then turns to Prisoner B and shoots him to see if HE'LL turn into a zombie, too. I don't know why, it's impossible to explain, but that is the most brilliant and awesome (a word I use a lot when talking about this movie) thing I have ever seen in a movie. Why that has NEVER been done in a zombie movie before, I don't know. I marked HARD when I saw that.

You marked. Sweet.
I've been dying to see it and Battle Royale. Thankfully, dmihatmttl is sending me a copy of Battle Royale. I'm still on the lookout for Versus. It sounds spectacular.

The problem is I usually get burned when I buy a movie that I haven't seen and it costs more than I usually pay. I might risk it for this movie though. I really haven't heard one bad thing about it.
Sam The Egg

really? I've never got burned doing that. But then, the only movies I've bought without seeing are Usual Suspects, Training Day and The Hills Have Eyes, so that may be a factor.
OMG, I'm talking about stuff I've bought!

A few of the movies I've bought and haven't liked are Brother, Anatomy, and Chopper Chicks in Zombietown.
