Hey all
Im new to the forum
My brother and I love horror movies. We love them so much that we make our own. They are low budget but we enjoy making them. We have a few ideas that we are working with but we would love it if anyone could provide there own ideas. Post them here or email them to me. also if you are struggling with ideas urself i might be able to help you out. Also keep in mind we are low budget and we would love it if the main characters were teens.
Thanks

Not to sound like an ass, but I really don't think people will want to be giving you their own ideas for you to use. I could be wrong on the other hand, if you were to make some friends here and become a frequent poster, i'm sure that some of the users would be able to help you out.

A Nuclear Power plant has a meltdown and the radioactive material transforms the prison's (which is conveniantly next door) inmates into mutants with super-powers. They then wreak havoc on the nearby village and go on a murderous rampage. The prison guards who were also mutated form a small band of rebels and try to stop the convicts - but will they be in time to save the world?!?!?!?!?!??!

How low budget are you talking? I've been writing a script for a little over a year and I'm thinking that about five thousand would be nice. It would be better if I could get twenty.
I think that five thousand would let it skirt by as a passible indie horror in some obscure film contest in Canada. But I'm will to try to put that together my self. I think that actors are the hardest part to find in my escapade.
*story (not the one I'm working on)*
Two entry level college students dabble in the arts to find out that they have called a demon to come forth and kill. When trying to run away from their horrible mistake they find themselves trapped in woods not nowing what is lurking out there. (is it the demon or a BEAR!)

If I wasn't functionally illiterate I would have my zombie trilogy done by now. Wait, this post kinda kills the credibility of my illiteracy thing. Right it's lack of motivation that killed my trilogy.

Motivation is by killer of all my films.

lol that was genius.
I kinda agree with the other guy. Filmmaking is all about your views, your imagination, and how far u can take it, you shouldn't really depend on others for ideas. an easy way to think up stuff tho, sit there with a marker, preferably crayola... and just start thinking of things that you like when u watch horror movies, 2 teens can be super cheesy, or really good, so yeah just brainstormmm mofo.

I love making films, Im working on a script right now. the working title is "slain" belive it or not I got the idea from a cannibal corpse song. its a new look at the slasher genre (just when you thought they couldnt make any more.) and Im gonna shut up now cause I dont want anyone to steal my idea, sorry.

A cannibal is going around in a prison eating people. At the end you find out it's actually who throughout the film was the main character and "hero."

I thought this up a while ago but I think its cool "night of the zombie punks" basicly some zombie blood gets into a new beer called brainwash and a keg full of it goes to a punk show and all hell breaks loose what do you guys think?
