Well, maybe I will never be one in real life, but I can attain my goals here at the forum.

The last forum I was in had it's last post in October 2006.

I have enjoyed the nice comments I have received as well as the fun ones.

Marya Zaleska is a character that I made up based on a classic horror movie character and used my picture as a "granny" from a past halloween party for my profile picture and signature. So I guess that I am more of a "hostess" than a host.

But, oh well! It's a lot of fun. Massive stress relief to be sure!

I enjoy writing about movies in general especially the classic horror and sci fi ones. I do like a lot of the more modern horror movies as well such as Jeepers Creepers and Species.

Since my time is limited I can't spend as much time as I would like to with this.

However in the future I would like to discuss and review on the forum such classics as:

The Haunting
Kingdom Of The Spiders
The Uninvited
Species
This Island Earth
The Devil Commands
The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms
Them
The Incredible Shrinking Man
The Bride Of Frankenstein
Dracula's Daughter
The Relic
The Wolfman
It Came From Outer Space

So hopefully I will have some time in the future to write about these films.

Recommendations are invited assuming that I am familiar with the film.

Unfortunately I have tried everything to have attachments to my posts but it never works. Well, use your imagination.

Thank you.

Marya Zaleska, your hostess to the supernatural.

I kind of wish that Them! had been in color and 3-D like originally intended. Sadly they cut it due to cost and the fact that the ants looked way too cute, with the big blue eyes, to be scary.

Them! is brilliant before the ants show up.

I agree.

Them is a great movie until the ants show up!

Both you and Dr, Faustus.

The picture is really thrilling up until the ants come up. Not scary enough.

It was still a great movie.

A horror movie "hostess" with the mostess! That's what! Lol!

They're packaging Them with Beast From 20,000 Fathoms, which is a pretty cool thing to do, but Beast really doesn't have much going for it besides Harryhausen's effects, though that almost stands by itself.

Not to be cruel or anything, but you're telling us what you plan to do, if you find the time ...that you'll review films, but only if you're familiar with them and that you have no skill whatsoever with attaching anything to your posts...

Thanks, but no thanks. We review movies CONSTANTLY on this site - and we go out of our way to find films which we aren't familiar with.

Add what you will, but making some big announcement that you "plan" to review some films is completely pointless.

Marya, try and contact Zwoti or Bloodrayne. They could help you with your attachment problem.

i might post some monkey pictures and then make some irrelevant comments before disappearing for a while --- IF I feel like it, that is.
