In the history of ripping off other films, what film has been the biggest "borrower?"

I'm saying My Bloody Valentine b/c it was trying to be Friday the 13th so bad. Both slashers, both use famous dates, and both were produced at Paramount.

Not busting on you or anything, but why does everyone think The Matrix invented wire-fighting?

To "borrow" a phrase from Arioch: Crouching Tiger OWNS The Matrix.

I'll go for The Eye. Not only did it rip off Sixth Sense, but it ripped off The Mothman Prophecies---and never, ever rip-off Richard Gere movie!!!!

But some of my favorite exploitaion movie are knock-offs of Dawn of the Dead, Road Warrior, and Appocalypse Now (love Italian Vietnam flicks---in Dawson's The Last Hunter a black guy actually passes himself off as a Viet Cong; then when he gets shot, his leg just falls off. How can you not love something like that????).

But King just admitted that he's starting to rip-off himself. How's that for a laugh?

Well, the movie 'Resurrection' from 1999 starring Christopher Lambert was a rip-off from 'Se7en'. But I did enjoy the movie, one of the best roles Lambert has ever played.
