Worst zombie movie EVER!!

This film released in 1981 stars Howard Vernon and Nadine Pascale (among others of course)

Written by A. L. Mariaux and Directed by J. A. Lazer

Long story short, its about a lake (duh) where some young women go missing. The local yahoos blame the "lake of ghosts" for the foul play and this person along with that person tries to solve the mystery ...etc etc

Yes, in fact it soon turns out that a group of badly green faced zombies are to blame for the missing woman and the truth for their return to hunt the living is revealed and thats pretty much that..

The movie of course is low budget and shows some skin but leaves you in the end going ... why the hell did I just waste an hour 1/2 of my life??

Anyway make you own mind up if you like and see it but don't say I didnt warn you!!

Im a big fan of the Zombie genre and if you have any movies in mind you think I'd like just give me a shout :D

Actually directed by Jean Rollin & jullian de laserna under the pseudo of J.A. Lazer, but yes a trully terrrible film. Me & some of my mates rented this during the video nasties furore in the UK during the early 80's. After seeing DOTD & Zombi i was pretty gutted having paid for this pile of crap. lured in by the explicit cover which promised gallons of glop & gratuitos sex we were all pretty disapointed........

That's why I bought the DVD......because it has a great cover + it was cheap and sometimes I buy really bad flicks!:D

Oh! I thought WAR OF THE DEAD was the wrost zombie movie ever made....

It was this film that first got me interested in Horror. I was about 8 or 9 at the time when i lived in Germany . I didnt see a lot of it but i did see some gore , and i just thought WOW thats COOL .
Ive not seen the film since .

The underwater scenes were pretty good. And for the others, I kept wishing they colored the darn necks greens too...
