What are your top 10 horror movies of the new millenium?
I havent seen a lot of horror movies so I'm planning on renting a couple horror movies a day. I mostly prefere new horror movies so I want your list of the best from the 2000-s.
There are SOME exceptions as I've seen and loved Scream, Nightmare on elm street but Excorsist, Shining (Jack's acting was amazing but the movie was boring) and Friday the 13th part were boring (part 3 was the only good one).

I loved The Devil's Rejects, but I think I'm the only one, so you might want to ask around a bit.

I also loved The Devil's Rejects, I thought it was far better than the House of 1000 Corpses.
Shaun of the Dead is good. I liked Cabin Fever, but I think I am the only one.....:p The Descent and Dog Soldiers are both excellent.

I like Cabin Fever. Sadly, I still haven't seen Descent. I feel like an idiot for forgetting Dog Soldiers.

Creep rules! Yes, thank you for stating it. What's not to like? Rent this one for sure...
Here is the review I wrote on Netflix:
"Wow. The filmmakers clearly know and love great horror. The fact that we don't see the creep (except in the background!) for so long works great. When we finally do see him, he is grotesque. The scene where he pretends to perform surgery on the girl is demented. I expected crap and I got brilliance! Rent this, turn down the lights, and love life for a couple of hours."

I am also a huge fan of Creep! I really can't recommend it enough... give it a chance. It seems a lot of people don't like it, but I can't understand why. It's a clever little film, and has some real messages embedded into it (loved the ending bit.) If your a fan of creature films, specifically more human-esque ones, you can't skip this. A lot of care and detail was put into it. The creature is not CGI like one would expect, it's traditionally structured. It looks grotesque, yet at the same time, familiar to that of a human. What really struck me was it's actions it takes. Speaking only in mimic, copying what another says, or the tone of another's voice... as if it was learning as it went along. The surgery scene was the best bit, however, and as minute as this detail is... it stuck out. I'm sure you know what I mean if you've seen it. (Washing hands.)

wow! more creepsters. i thought i was the only one. i loved how the creep's background and story were implied but never really detailed. you just know that for him to be this awful he must've come through something awful. plus, he's probably up there with capt. spaulding as my fave horror baddie. is severance any good?

Severance was... so-so, in my opinion. Starts off great - nice typical horror setting, dark humour spread along... but then the ending gears off from the horror aspect and the film turns all 'terrorist' on us.
