Long Island, New York - The mom busted for snorting heroin at Wal-Mart while shopping with her 3 year-old son nearly mowed down two people recently while driving with the boy on her lap, a neighbor charged yesterday.
"She's not stable. She's not all there. She's just bad news," said the Farmingville neighbor, who declined to give her name.
Stacy Roe, 35, was arrested Saturday after allegedly admitting to Suffolk County cops that she had sniffed heroin while pushing a shopping cart through the Wal-Mart in Centereach - as captured on store surveillance cameras.
Free on bail, Roe returned home, where her son was already with his dad, her live-in boyfriend.
The anonymous neighbor, meanwhile, said she saw Roe about two weeks ago "driving with her son sitting in her lap and holding the steering wheel." There were three other kids in the back seat, she added.
"She was honking the horn and saying, 'No! No! Be careful!' " the neighbor said. "I had to grab my daughter and jump on the sidewalk. They almost hit us."
She said Roe moved in about six months ago and already has a history of feuding with neighbors over her speeding.
Yesterday, a Child Protective Services investigator visited Roe's home.
