This is John Carpenters new flick.....Just the information about it so far....

I miss Carpenter, he is one of the main reasons, next to Romero, that I got into Horror and suspense.

He's been "working on that one" for quite a while and I don't see him getting to it for quite a while...but he does have a new film in the works...MINE!!!!!

We just went out to casting directors and are talking with actors right now. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it:D

If Kurt Russell was in this I'd see it several times a day.

our fingers are crossed...he's our #1 casting choice, and JC's buddy. We sure hope he likes the script:eek:

aawwww you make me feel like the prettiest girl at the ball:)

But seriously, my writing partner and I wrote the lead role of our latest script specifically for Russell waaaay before we knew that JC would direct it. Casting is always tricky and it usually boils down to scheduling, so we'll see what happens.

But hanging out in JC's office is cool. Little MacReady and Snake Plissken figurines all over and quite a few versions of Micheal Myers as well. My favorite trinket I've seen in there is a Chinese food take-out box that says "Big Trouble in Little China" on it. I just know it's full of something cool, but I haven't been nerdy enough to ask or ballsy enough to just pick it up and examine it properly.

I truly worry for you Rodman....when you get all famous and weird (ok, ok, Weirder :D )...you will have all these very personal Horror.com posts to haunt you.

(Not that anything you've said could do any damage in RL...but tabloid trash can turn anything into something omnious :) )

Yeah, I'm mindful of that. I try to keep everything either simple and kind or anecdotal. But no one should ever begrudge me for having a chat and actually caring about you fine people.

it's a monster mash told with a fractured timeline with interconnecting stories all set against the backdrop of Los Angeles. It's essentially Pulp Fiction, The Exorcist, The Horror of Dracula, and snippets of Enterouge into a blender set to "dismember".

Any more would spoil the fun.:D
