Ever liked a movie so much you could see it again and again, but others criticize or ridicule you for it? It might not be great, or fabulous or anything...but just a movie which you simply LOVE with all you got...

It could be cheap, trashy, cheesy, plotholes-riddled...but a movie close to heart...

Mine are

- Serendipity
- A Night at the Roxbury
- Alien vs Predator
- Predator 2
- The Bridges of Madison County
- Resident Evil

to name a few...:o

(hey! no bashing! )

And yours?

Heh heh.......I liked Maximum Overdrive, too. Most people really hate that movie but I liked a lot of things about it. Around the midpoint it is very dreamlike.

I think people expect a little too much of a movie that is scored by AC/DC, you know.

This is one of those movies that everyone pounds for being stupid, yet they actually don't think that it's that bad. It's more hype than anything. Kind of like when someone says that SAW is the goriest movie ever, that doesn't mean that they've seen it nor actually is it gory. Again, it's all in your mind and opinions. If you like something, go for it.

I LOVE The Wizard of Oz, watch it a couple of times a year.

I have so many guilty pleasures, its ridiculous.....I like a lot of crap, and I admit it. :) Armageddon is probably the biggest one, as far as films go. I like most '80s horror, even the bad ones. And I love romantic comedies as well (While You Were Sleeping, Bridget Jones's Diary, etc.). And yes, I actually like Titanic. I wouldn't even know how to begin to put a list together for this thread....

Election

The director of Election Alexander Payne is from Omaha. It was also filmed in The Big O. My good friend Matt is in that movie. He's the guy who steals a hand full of gum from Reese, and tells her "EAT ME". He also says "EAT ME RAW" @ the Pep Rally.
