Not really, but i need help and it's been bad for days.

My internet works, but i can't get ON the internet browser. It acts like it's loading, but it goes incredibly slow and eventually just says *cannot display this page* My aim, yahoo, etc works, but not the broswer, it's annoying. I'm on the basement comp now, but i'll be upstairs the majority of the time. If anyone knows what to do, can you im me on aim- Posher919 or yahoo- Posher88 if possible. If you don't have either however, just post here, and i'll check in a few hours. Thanks

That may be it. However, I ran spybot and adaware and it didn't solve the problem. Spybot's definitions are up to date, but adaware's are not. Could this be very significant? Also, how can i save firefox to a cd and take it to my other computer?

xp has burning software built in.

double click my computer then double click on your cdrw
copy the file into this window
in the common tasks pane (lhs) you should have the option to write these files to cd. this will kick off the burning wizard

Tools - Internet Options, then delete all cookies and that. Your Internet folder is probably just very full up.

folder (in IE) will overwrite when it becomes full

deleting cookies will help with stopping ad-ware

Thanks guys, especially zwoti- I figured out a really easy solution that slipped my dumb ass mind. I just needed to get on the guest account on my vista comp, and download it, then transfer it to my account. I didn't think that internet would work on it, but it does. Haha. But thanks for spending time on me anyway.

however, i do have one more question. I *shared* my pictures folder with this new vista account, but i don't see the pictures showing up anywhere. Where would they be located?

if you remember what you named the folder..
you should be able to do a search..
otherwise..look in hidden files.

mind you..em not familiar with vista..so em just second guessing here.
