I thought it was great! More of a "pirate movie" than the other two.

I thought it was great! More of a "pirate movie" than the other two.I agree.I liked the part when the little pirate shot another guy and he had a big gun and he flew back like 10 feet.

The Mothman

I went to the Dublin premiere, twas class, really liked it, maybe even more than the first two, still undecided but great film, very fast 3 hours! Free bar at the after party and in good oul fashioned pirate mode we got stealing... I've got a skull and cross bones flag hanging on the wall beside me now, yarrr, drink and divelment!!!

Much stronger than the 2nd. I loved the ending and yes, the end of the credits bit was good. As usual it was compelling, funny, chilling and just an all around great pirate film. The amount of double crossing and that was great. Although, they left quite a few loose ends (I suppose that's just incase they do decide to make another). Kierra Knightley, Orlando Bloom and Depp were amazing and the little bits with wooden eye, his friend and jack the monkey were greeat.

if you look carefully in the second one, it looks like the cracken has a fish tail. Not sure if it's meant to or if it's just me. I like seeing different interpreatations of krakens.

Haven't seen 3 yet, but I liked 2 a lot, and I liked the Kraken...that brief shot where you see most of it underwater shows you a lot but it is still a little unclear...it's one of those "WTF is that!" sorts of shots. Definitely not just a big cuttlefish, but I like calling it a cuttlefish because it's funny.

It was fun, but nothing spectacular. Definately a fun summer movie. But there was one thing about it, like the other two, that I particularly enjoyed...

I really liked this one. Definitely better than 2 and possibly a little better than the first only because this one felt more like a pirate movie.

Though, what happened after the credits? We left before they ended.

Yeah. I, too, left before the credits so if anyone could tell me what happens or if it's on Youtube or something it'd be greatly appreciated.

Anyways...loved this just as much as the first two. Maybe more so. Doesn't need to be a 4th, though. It's perfect just as it is.

Okay, I found out what happens after the credits:

*SPOILERS*

You see a title card for "Ten Years Later" and Elizabeth and a young boy (presumably her son with Will) are standing on a cliff overlooking the ocean. A green flash appears on the horizon and with it, The Flying Dutchman. Will is standing on deck looking towards Elizabeth and the boy, smiling.

Apparently, there are little scenes like this at the end of the credits for the first two movies too.

Saw it this past weekend.

A little plotty, but that's what you get with this kind of film. Waaaay better then #2. An enjoyable bit of fluff with the very finest VFX I've ever seen.

i really REALLY hope they don't do this. I was a good end, to add to it would be making the same mistake halloween ressurection did. And who's jerry?

Jerry Bruckheimer...the producer.

There won't be a fourth. It isn't listed on iMDB under anyone's name, even rumored. This was a smart series...there won't be anymore.

As long as they still have decent adventures thought up I'd watch Pirates 9 or 10. I'm not from the school of thought that believes there can't be a series with more than three good films.

Thought it was shit.
Period.
Could see another one or two films from the whole 'eternal life' thingy between Jack and Barbosa.
Overall, part 3 stank like Davey Jones's foot locker...
