It's about time...
I hear it...guy gets no respect, he's saved their asses so many times...
In case anyones wondering, the link I gave was a video summary of the beggining of the next "event" to effect the marvel universe, "world war HULK".
Prior to the events of the civil war, the secret group known as the Illuminati, a group consisting of Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four, ProfesSor X, Black Bolt of the Inhumans, Iron-Man, Dr Strange, and Namor aka the sub-mariner make a group decision that the damage the hulk has inflicted upon humanity outweighs the good he's done, and to send him into another dimension, saying that they're finally fulfilling his wish of "wanting to be left alone". This lead to the "Planet Hulk" story arc.
The planet was thought to be uninhabited by intelligent life...they made a slight navigational error, sending him crashing into a vicious planet ruled by a cruel, technologically advanced race of beings...The hulk is missing chunks of his memory as to how he got there...beings that use others for entertainment, forcing them to partake in gladiatorial competitions...mostly just to watch them die. There are however some that are strong, some that rise...of course, before too long, the hulk is among a small group of individuals of various alien races...fighting together, they decide it's time to overthrow the emperor...etc...and become "warbound" to eachother. Hulk, is seen by many of the planets inhabitants to be a prophesised hero that will free them from oppression, holku the great. He does just that...and even finds some measure of happiness in the arms of his new warrior queen, set to bear his child...With the planet united and the oppressors overthrown, the hulk rules.
Until of course the ship they sent him in blows up on account of having unstable technology...most of the planet dies instantly, along with his wife and unborn child.
Surviving to investigate the explosion, totally raged out, comes across evidence of who sent him, and the ship, in the form of their "goodbye" message explaining why THEY thought they should send him away.
He knows who did it, he knows how to get back, and he's bringing his "warbound" to the party.
One of them's a Brood...
