How do you post your desktop?

easy - pick up your monitor - put it in a large cardboard box. seal the box and put an address label on it. get the proper postage and drop it off at the local post office!

Get to just your desktop by minimizing or closing all of your windows that you have open and hit the Print Sceen / SysRq button into the top right of your keyboard. Open up paint, Once that opens, hit Ctrl+V and save it as a jpg

Ferret, the one coming out is for business operations, more of a workstation OS than a home use one.

As for desktops, at home I use a Misfits theme and at work, I have the Thunderbirds (USAF Flight Demostration Team) as my wallpaper

:D No, if you check the piccie out closely, you can see "20th Century Fox" in the bottom right hand corner - the tail is curling up behind it - quite subtle but the full image shows it a bit better.

I have a new computer that I share with my wife and neither of us have gotten around to customizing the desktop, so we still have one of the factory installed ones.

I've heard that alot of applications that we use regularly arent compatible with Vista - lots of glitches and stuff! <-- just hearsay I hasten to add (it depends how pc literate one is, I suppose!!).

I've always been under the impression that we install our own OS systems, regardless if a new package includes the latest OS. So.....you surely have the choice whether to have Vista or not - personally, I'd remove it and put me own OS on! :cool:

Vista hasn't given me many problems. Initially it was a little confusing, but once I got everything wired and downloaded right, it's been smooth sailing ever since. Extremely minimal popups too.
