Alright well tonight i'm having a get together with some friends, employees, and my boss. After the cook out, we are all drinking, I was thinking of putting in a horror movie and every time something occurred we take a drink. I was wondering if you guys can give some suggestions, on a movie and an event.

You could do Texas Cahinsaw Massacre & drink when you hear the saw if you wanted to keep a slower pace.
Or Dawn of the Dead and drink any time someone says "zombie" for a faster pace...
Or you could do Friday the 13th & drink every time there is a kill.

Watch the original House on Haunted Hill and drink whenever someone says "hysteria".

Get Wild Zero, there's even a feature on the DVD that explains the drinking game. :)

play the who can pass out first game,
eveyone takes shots of whatever your drinking, and the first person to pass out wins.
that or watch candyman, and drink everytime there's dialogue
googled and came up with this....just remember...NO drinking & driving.
this has been a public service announcement
Horror Movie Drink Up
This game can be played along with your favorite horror movie. The rules are pretty basic , take a drink every time:
- You can see the killer but the actor/actress can't
- The victim runs up a flight of stairs
- The hero/heroine survives a near attack
- For each false scare
- The hero/heroine falls out of a window and survives (two if someone else in the movie also falls out of a window and doesn't survive)
- For each "breast shot", two if the breast shot leads to a sex scene
- If someone throws in a witty one liner at a time when you just wouldn't have a sense of humour
- If one or more characters are stoned or drunk, two if one or more of these characters die
- If a reference to another horror movie is made
- Someone screams "Help Me!!!" or "Noooo!!"
- If in the credits the names Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Wes Craven, Kevin Williamson or Bob and Harver Weinstein appear
- If one or more actor/actresses are from a TV sitcom/drama
Drink twice if:
- The killer speaks (this doesn't include on the phone)
- A cop is close by and runs to assist (three if the cop is competent and an extra if the cop dies)
- A scene is an obvious rip off from another film
- The killer actually runs after their victim
- The victim trips over at a crucial point
- A victim gets killed during daylight
- If the killer comes back for "one final scare"

Sounds cool for a slasher...and since Craven is mentioned, my recommendation would be Scream.
It has almost all of the above mentioned by newb.

I was about to say the same thing. I can never watch a movie and pay attention when drinking. But it does sound fun I guess.
I am off for mexican food and margaritas tonight and the I am going to see Blades of Glory!

Its going great, Nikki. I havent seen Blades yet, but plannin to. Too bad you couldnt see The Reaping...I thought it was a pretty nice flick. Check it out if it re-releases around those parts, or rent it once it comes out on DVD.

It's probably still playn at the crappier theatres but that is not where I am going tonight so I will have to get it on DVD for sure. I love Hillary Swank.

I think AM made his decision, and newb accelerated it quite nicely.

I have seen Blades of Glory. If you're a Will Ferrell fan you will love it.
side note....John Heder....he is good in this movie but I think as an actor he is very limited

Actually I think John is a great actor, no matter what he never ever breaks character. His only issue will be him getting type casted. But I know he has done some other movies that are normal, I haven't seen any but I think he is great.
And yes I love Will Farrell and I'm sure Blades will be hallarious.
