Rise:Blood Hunter

Rise:Blood Hunter is described as a supernatural thriller starring Lucy Liu and Michael Chiklis.The plot revolves around a reporter(Liu)who wakes up in a morgue to find she is now "undead".She seeks revenge against the sect of vampires that are responsible for putting her there and sets about hunting them down,she is assisted by a Police Detective(Chiklis) whose Daughter was slain by the same Vampiric sect.
The Movie is written and directed by Sebastian Gutierrez who wrote Snakes on a Plane(With John Heffernan)and Gothika.
Personally i'm not sure what to expect here,the movie has some promising elements for sure and there is talk that it will have a Noir-ish feel,so i guess this could be good,any thoughts?

Kinda like how 'Gothika' has Halle Barry waking up in an asylum and... nevermind.
This just in: remakes are out. Actresses waking up in bad situations are in. :rolleyes:

i might see this. on dvd for sure not have hale berry in this film alone may save it. she sucked in gothica and in most of her movies

Yep...I wanted her to bite it Xmen 3 just to shut her up!
Chiklis doesn't do bad work...usually...anyone remember him on the episode of Miami VIce where he had the pony tail and the earring? Classic stuff there Vice fans.
