im sick of horror movies where the character who is played by the most famous actor/actress always survives, it ruins the mystery of the whole thing.....an example is wrong turn where i knew jesse was gonna survive, and TCM remake where Erin survived. couldnt they make them die once in a while?

I alos like it when the main characters die. Original twist.

Probably the reason why Night Of The Living Dead (1968) is one of the greatest horror movies ever made...and for its time - wow! I can't imagine how audiences reacted.

is the night of the living dead 1968 version thesame in story and characters as the night of the living dead 90 remake? if it is, u must be referring to the death of ben...i found that shocking ...when that old guy shot ben with the shotgun i expected ben to survive, but when he shot ben like three times i was like 'well theres no way he can survive now', and him turning into a zombie....was sad

i think that ending must have been controversial, they prob would have been used to seeing the hero conquer all

The end to the 90's version sucks. Watch the original.

Ha, like Nightmare On Elm Street. Of course that dumb bitch is gonna live.

Let's see...

Even Stephen King's It was predictable.

I hate predictable movies so badly it's unreal.

Freddy Krueger.

I hate cartoons like Power Rangers and stuff because they always win and the bad guy always die. The damn queer good guys always win and the cool and awesome bad guys always lose.

Night of the Living Dead (original) had a badass ending. The first time I watched it, I think my jaw dropped and hit the floor.

I also watched a movie last night called Child of Darkness, Child of Light (or something like that) and the end wasn't that bad (effects were VERY cheesy), but the bad guy lived.

Seriously guys...Are there ANY horror movies these days that you can't pretty much finish telling after the first 25 minutes?...Maybe it's just me...I do tend to get bitched at for it quite a bit...LOL...Maybe that's why most people prefer NOT to watch movies with me...hmmmm

Actually, I'm sure they're just as predictable to you guys, too...

there are very few to be sure

Identity was one......but that movie didnt even give many clues, it just shocked ya at the end with the surprise ending. john cusack, ralph fiennes, both died....(do the characters in identity count as characters, since they are not real?)

how bout Morgan, he didnt do shit, and he died?

remember that scene where he died, he basically sacrificed himself so erin could survive, (lethaface walking away with erin, morgan screams at him and comes out of hiding). HE SHOULD HAVE HID THERE AND KEPT HIS MOUTH SHUT! he may have survived LOL
