Joss Whedon is doing Season 8 as a comic!! The first 2 issues are out!!

its already on my standing order in travelling man.....and yep i read the first few pages (teaser) then played the theme....oh buffy geek that i am! :D
I'm not saying anything. It inspired me to go back and rewatch the first seven seasons.

lol i just love joss whedons writing....never gets old so its possible to watch buffy over and over....aaah memories

i love buffy i dident like the series final episode though. but yeah i own 3 of the seasons. i watch it every morning on fx they are only on episode two right now of the first season.

Thus far, the season 8 comic seems "ok"...but then, most buffy seasons took a while before getting into the "good" stuff.
Having an existing career in comics prior to even the Buffy movie, Whedons work translates well into the format, his trademark humour and dialogue can be clearly seen. I suppose they've made some interesting changes to the development of the storyline, it's a far cry from where the series left off.
It's at the very least "interesting", and I'll be sticking around for at least a few more issues to see how it goes.

As much as I absolutely love Buffy (it's been my favourite TV show since it;s 2nd season) and am excited and happy with Seaon 8, his work on Runaways thusfar has been much more entertaining for me...Probably because he has less baggage with those characters, but yeah...
