I'd like this thread to be pretty serious, so i'd appreciate if no one posts any stupid crap in here. This means e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e...

******What are your favorite movie weapons of all time?

******What are your favorite weapons from real life?

My top 5 movie weapons are:

1. Rasputin (the assassin) 's twirling, flipping, slice and dice swords. I'm looking for a pic, but if not, he holds one in each hand, and twirls them really fast, and slices everyone to bits.

http://www.a2armory.com/images/hellboy-kroenen-sword.jpg

2. Gogo's Mace from- Kill Bill V.1 It's even got that crazy sawblade thing!

http://www.sptimes.com/2003/10/09/images/xlarge/W_0_filmbill_170502_1009.jpg
^cool pic too!

3. V's throwing knives - from: V For Vendetta

http://img.search.com/thumb/f/f4/VdaggersVforVendetta.JPG/250px-VdaggersVforVendetta.JPG

4. Rasputin's (again) "wrist blades" from Hellboy. These are in other films too, but this one takes the cake with how he uses them, especially in the first part of the film.

5. Uma's katana in Kill Bill V.1 (it's just totally sleek and kick ass)

http://www.nst.com.my/Current_News/nst/blogs/fillips/images/Kill%20Bill%201.bmp

Honorable mention- The repeater crossbow that van uses in Van Helsing.

Gogo doesn't use a mace.

It's called a meteor hammer.

It's also a real life weapon.

They're basically the same. It hurts, is the main point:cool:

I don't have any real ones I care about except my katana. It's nothing spectacular or anything, just a gift.

Meteor hammers and maces function far differently, differences I care not to indulge in.

I guess you're right. Either way, Chain + metal sphere = Kick ass. I think we can agree to that.

I forget what the name of the short swords that Electra use, but those have to be my fav in movies and real life. (are they real weapons? )
I want to learn how to do that.
The scenes where she's twirling the swords all over the place-OMG, poetry in motion.

I've always been a fan of the flying spheres in Phantasm. As far as more modern weaponry, the experimental guns in Eraser were pretty cool.

I don't think it was a katana actually. I think it was just a sword... Because it isn't curved or anything.

I like alot of the mentioned weapons, but some I think that are worth a mention is the M-60 from rambo, the rail run from eraser, scarfaces little friend, any of the guitar cases from desperado, sex machines cock piece from dusk till dawn and that crazy gun that zorg was trying to trade to those aliens in the 5th element. I personally would love to have a gold plated desert eagle.

Um. that's not Rasputin.

Rasputin was the other guy. It even says "Kroenen" on the poster you dropped into the page.

Kroenen was a Nazi (as evidenced by the wardrobe) Rasputin was a Russian cleric. He was a real man who held great power within the Russian Royal family and when he became too powerful he was assassinated...and in epic fashion. Poisoned, shot, beaten, tied up, placed in a sack and dropped into a freezing river. His body was found a few miles downshore. He had managed to escape his bonds and bag only to drown.

Since they are called up by the box, (unwittingly by its owner) they can be technically regarded as human-weapons.

That makes sense! I was having a little confusion with that. either way, the swords are just awesome.

1. My favorite weapon from movies would have to be of course The infamous Chainsaw. Nothing is better than watching your victims scream in terror over the loud engine of the chainsaw :D

2. Favorite weapon in real life a Sniper Rifle - Deadly weapon with a long range, we all seen what a Sniper can do in DC didn't we ?

I'm not into weapons. I guess if I had to pick a favorite weapon to fuck someone up with I'd want it to be something very original that wouldn't be expected, like a pine cone or a paperback book.

or an un-opened coke can in a pillow case,...... by the way keep your nuts on your chin jokes to yourself.

I think the reason I chose my number one is because you can easily defend yourself from all sides with lightning fast speed, and chop everyone to bits easily.
