It's driving me nuts. I saw it when I was a kid and it scared the hell out of me.

All I remember is that a couple rent a house and have a strange hobby of going to graveyards and making tracings of headstones. They hang these tracings over their bed. They are then haunted by ghosts.

I know that's not a lot to go on, but the tracings of headstones is unusual.

Thanks

There actually was a Gate II... "Tresspassers"

I personally like The Gate 12: Closed by Dawn.

The Gate movies were a part of my ongoing tourney in the Duology section.;)

Could you be more specific? Try to remember some other detail of the movie. Because that doesnt ring a bell.

Could it be a foreign movie? Mexican or Italian?

I ve seen plenty of movies involving headstones, and some on tracings...(Sleepwalkers comes immediately to mind)...but not the one you are asking for.

I dont believe Lets Scare Jessica to Death had any part involving tracings of headstones, crabby. Although thats the best guess so far IMO.

the tracing headstones thing is one of the main things I remember from that movie. That and the creepy vampire/ghoul/witch

The first scene in the movie has the title character taking tracings of headstones with her boyfriend, dude. The rest of the movie has them and their buddy haunted by ghosts. Come on, man.

And also........it's a good movie!

Anyway, the main character's weird obsession with tombstones and the dead seems to be part of what draws the strange ghostly experiences to her. We're not sure if all the spooky stuff is real or imagined.

Thanks Crabapple,

I think that may be it. I don't remember Vampires, but it was around 1979 or 1980 that I saw it. I netflixed it and will have it tomorrow.
