I've read somewhere talks about Condemned: Criminal Origins, I don't know if it was rumors but I'll search for it and post back about it. I was looking forward to seeing the Halo movie also, I'm a big fan of the games.

Mortal Kombat: Devastation - Alex will HAVE to have this one

Resident Evil: Extinction - I will HAVE to have this one

The Suffering - We'll be buying this one...I hope they don't make it suck

Cold Fear - Most likely end up buying this one

Castlevania - We will DEFINITELY be buying this one

Alice - Definitely, Absolutely, POSITIVELY gotta buy this...As soon as possible...But...umm...WHY Sarah Michelle Geller?...WWWWHHHYYYYY?!

Clock Tower...The only thing that could potentially keep me from buying this one would be Hillary Duff...That can't possibly be true...Can it?

The others, we wouldn't really be interested in...

Thanks for the list :)

James Wan, the co-mastermind behind the Saw franchise, and director of Dead Silence and Death Sentence, will be co-writing and directing Castlevania for producer Paul W.S. Anderson.

Sylvain White was originally slated to direct.

Castlevania is an adaptation of the popular NES game from the 80's that has since become a massive video game franchise.

"I'm very fresh on this project, so its early stages and I'm still trying to work things out, but the producers love my vision for it," James Wan tells. "I'll be working on the script with a writer to give it a new spin, different to the previous versions. This will have my stamp on it which Konami is very excited about.

"The thing I love about what Konami did with Castlevania, was taking the iconic Dracula mythology and Eastern-European setting, and retelling it with a Japanese pop-cultural sensibility," he continues. "That’s the East-meets-West tone I want to visually expand on for the film. I’m thrilled by the opportunity to make a highly stylized, fantasy, action film that focuses on the gothic storyline and the cool, anime-like characters. For once, the human hero is as sexy and dangerous as the vampire villain, and his weapon of choice was what attracted me to the project in the first place – The Vampire Killer Whip.”

The much-anticipated Halo movie, which died a premature death after Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson tried to get it off the ground a couple of years back, may be alive again.
And not just that, but it may have an even bigger name than Jackson's attached to it as producer now…

Steven Spielberg.

IESB is reporting that "Spielberg is blown away by writer Stuart Beattie's take on the game in his script entitled Halo: the Fall of Reach.
This coupled with the fact that his DreamWorks umbrella is looking for a big tent pole to help launch their newly independant [sic] studio with distribution over at Walt Disney Pictures after losing Transformers to Paramount in the separation, it's the perfect combination."

The report also notes how Spielberg actor Shia LaBeouf has been talking about how the director is fascinated with the game BioShock lately, and also that word has it that "CAA, who reps both Spielberg and Beattie, is pushing these negotiations heavily."

Is Spielberg the man for the Halo job? Wait and see as further developments unfold.

God, I hate Halo. Actually, I hate ALL first person shooter games. Ick. There are far too many of them. I for one, would like someone to come out with a totally different kind of game.

And, as for a movie? What the hell is up with that? Who actually follows with Halo's story line? Everyone I know only plays it for the online multiplayer. Even if they do play it offline for some ungodly reason, they skip all of the story bullshit.

Microsoft has tossed a bucket of cold water on gamers and fanboys who were excited by this past weekend's news that Oscar winner Steven Spielberg was interested in producing the long-awaited feature film version of Halo.

In a statement to Kotaku, Microsoft said of the Spielberg rumor, "We're glad there's still a lot of enthusiasm in the entertainment industry surrounding the idea of a Halo movie. That said, the Halo feature film remains on hold as we focus on projects like Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach."

Microsoft later added that it had "nothing further to share with respect to plans regarding a Halo movie."

Of course, that's exactly what the company would and should say on the record if a filmmaker such as Spielberg was in the midst of making a deal for the movie.

It must be noted that Spielberg was reportedly taken with the Halo: The Fall of Reach spec script that Stuart Beattie had penned, something done independent of Microsoft.
