I watch the show as a semi-VFTW-er. In general I support VFTW in a non-voting capacity, but there's the occasional one that I like for reasons other than that they're completely awful.

I thought Phil was good. He was at least distinctive, made strong song choices and could show some feeling. I hope Melinda wins. It seems like she'd do something with the temporary fame and besides, Blake can be really annoying. Beatboxing is a cool, distinct talent, but not really something to hide behind. And I know better beatboxers than him by far.

That's bloody twice now I've had a spoiler shoved in me face!! The US gets to see it sooner than us Brits - I try to close my eyes when I read this thread but I'm never quick enough.

It depends on your perspective. It is a case of you either love it and are totally addicted to it or its become a bit boring/drawn-out/lost! (excuse pun!).

I know thousands of people are hooked on it - and I love it - although have given up on all the theories as to what's happening to the characters in it - there doesnt appear to be one person in the whole darn universe who has sussed the plot out yet!

Still, there's some real hunky guys in it and some gorgeous girlies (depending on your preference!) :D

Phew! If you check into it now, you have approximately 70 episodes to watch, sweetiepie :D We're into the third series now - with no grand finale in sight - even tho it was promised in Series 2!!!

i tried but just couldn't get into this series..
the flash backs got me totally confused..
however..many of my relatives watch it religiously.

I lost track of American Idol cos the fools over here decided to change
the time slot to coincide with the rival channels programming..
and i just gotta see tom and jerry at that hour.
