I'm not sure if anyone watches Master's of Horror but I thought it would be fun to see what your personal favorites are. Mine are Imprint - Takasha Miike from season 1 and Pelts - Dario Argento from season 2

There's a whole thread dedicated to Masters of horror. Or there used to be anyway. Well my absolute fave Masters of Horror is the Black Cat. Another 1 I really liked was the 1 with Meatloaf. There's a few more that I like. But for the "masters" of horror, it's a bit cheesy at times. Like the 1 where zombies came back from the dead to vote. Or the washingtonians. (the very end of that made me actually laugh. Horror imo shouldn't make you laugh) But still with all the cheesy ones, I make sure to see all 13 of the season, or I may miss a really cool one.

Gotta go with Homecoming. Not the scariest, but great zombie story and incredibly apt in that everytime there's a war, you can reuse it. The original story was written during Vietnam.

That was a cheesy one to me. But then again I think anything to do with zombies are cheesy, unless it's specifically supposed to be a comedy. Like Idle Hands, for instance.

Too much politics for me, I've come to the point where I can no longer stand it in the media, in my music, and in my movies. Of course this only applies to more modern media... I read the news on various formats and that's where I want my thirst for political information to be sated. As for my fave... probably Cigarette Burns.

The Washingtonians was absolutely ridiculous... but there are some really good ones and I'm happy with the series. I really liked Ciggerette Burns as well. Oh and sorry I couldn't find anything about the MOH series otherwise I would have made my comments in there.

Joe Dante's Homecoming is supposed to be comedy. It is political satire.

And that was my favorite one also.

I also LOVED Cigarette Burns.

Well they should leave the comedy to the masters of comedy.

As ridiculous as the Washingtonians was. In a guilty pleasure sort of way, I enjoyed it just for the utter ridiculousness of it. Anybody else agree with that or am I just crazy?

the first one of season 1 was my favorite. after that, i think masters of horror started to lose it's appeal.

I have only just started to watch a few of these - but for some reason I was incredibly disturbed by "Jenifer", I'm not entirely sure why, I think maybe those huge black eyes........freaked me out a bit  ! I really liked "Imprint" and "Cigarette Burns" too, was a bit disappointed by "Chocolate".......didn't really see the point in it - nothing was really explained and felt it was a real let-down in comparison to the others I have mentioned.
