Someone here who likeīs it? I didnīt, I see the artistic side of it but necrophilia (spelling) is not my idea how to have fun. xD

If Despare is courteous enough to grace us with his presence (and I don't fault him if he's not) that'll be the guy you want to direct your question towards.

I thought Aftermath was very well directed and beautifully shot. Also, the topic was handled in such a way that it never becomes a glorification of necrophilia nor does it condemn it any way. The subject of morality is only addressed in the minds of the viewers while the action itself is unflinching and brutal. I thought it was well handled and the other movies included in the compilation (Genesis and The Awakening) are great companion pieces that make Aftermath even more of a joy to watch. It's rough and unapologetic but I think it was a really good watch.

^^ I agree.
This film is beautifully shot and scored, and this juxtaposes well with the innate repulsiveness of the subject matter.
To me, it was a statement of the transience of human life, and the circularity of events. In the end, they are inanimate pieces of tissue.
In death our bodies are at the mercy of those that they are entrusted to. They cannot fight back, and they cannot speak out.
In my mind, this is true horror - it is grotesque, it could well happen, and it leaves one dreading the possibility.

I particularly liked how my own cum - white and glossy in its bustling-with-life-ishness - juxtaposed with the gradually rotting dead bodies as it dripped down my TV screen upon watching it.
Also, are you the Rob Bottin who makes all sci-fi horror effects... or just a sad imitation, like one of his horror effects in The Thing?
If it's the latter, can I change my HDC name to 'Bruce Willis', or 'Ennio Morricone' without fear of ridicule?
