Create your own ideal horror movie!

Heres your chance to make your own ideal horror film. Post as a reply. Personally, I'd go for this:

A group of strong willed women venture into the woods, find an old mansion similar to the one in the Resident Evil video game, then find themselves pitted against screaming madmen who have rigged the house to catch helpless victims like themselves. Would have excellent camerawork, a distinct, drained visual style, a very, very dark industrial techno soundtrack, plenty of realistic gore, not too much, a very strong emotional side and a dose of psychological horror.

What do you guys think?

Great idea!

I have an idea, it´s my version of Hostel, the story is following, some youths travelling trough Texas after being on a party (ofcourse;) ) with their van, they pick up a bloody hitcher who´s also become a fruitcake and just some minute later, he´s blown his head off.

Then their car breaks down and they goes off to find gas. After everyone except Fransesca has left and not returned, she goes out to look for them but get´s knocked down.

Some time later she wakes up tighted up on a table and gets raped by the eldest brother Mike who starts sing "Singin´ in rain" during this, the youths has been caught by three psycho brothers who all love human meat. They also let rich psychos pay to tortue and kill their victims so there´s not only Mike, Bristol and Paxton Kelly, it´s also 5 psychos down in the basement paining people. Anyone who arrive at the Kelly´ bros. steakhouse will meet a terrible fate. And yes, you´ll se many of the deaths.

The title will be "Back o´beyond steakhouse".

Oh yes, there will be blood... MUCH blood.

And I also pretty damn sure that it´ll be rated NC-17.

A zombie movie in the gladiator years of rome. An army of zombified soldiers from one land marches to battle a land of humans. More of a weird action really. Sounds like a crabapple type film. Lol.

About thirty people are in a small hospital. There are also around ten staff working there. Suddenly, everything goes into quarrantine and nobody is sure why. They all get together when the lights go off. When they come back on, there's a type writer with a message on it saying


"Hello, I have been noticing the people in this hospital arent very friendly to each other. I think they don't take enough notice of each other. The staff don't comfort patients or talk to them very much and the patients are constantly sitting there, ignoring each other. If one is suddenly in pain or starts crying, the others simply look away and wait for the nurses.
I do not enjoy rudeness, and I think it's about time each of you got more social. One of us, me, has written this message. If you can guess who it is before three o'clock in the morning, five hours from now, i will shut off the bomb. Guess wrong and you will only have enough time to say goodbye before you are going tothe great beyond. The phones are shut off. I suggest you get talking and get to know each other and maybe, you will realize who I am. Type the name on the typewriter and leave. Every time a new guess is made, the lights will switch off, the type writer will be moved and I will type my response. Happy hunting."

The film will carry on from that point. The main character will be a twenty year old girl. Whenever a guess is made and the lights are switched off, throughout the hospital, all you can hear is the typing. Several characters will try and outsmart the writer but when the lights comeback on, the people are found dead.

Near the end they will work out that the person is a writer who was always found on the stairs in what seemed like a violent state of panic so nobody bothered with him. He used a remote overide on the lights and simply ran up the stairs with a silenced gun and killed those trying to outsmart him and wait near where the typewriter was. Besides the fact that when the lights went off, because it had been light everything seemed pitch black and their eyes didn't have time to adjust.

At the end the writer is pushed off the roof and the remaining three people eascape just before the bomb goes off. When they're in the police station the lights go off and all they can hear is a typewriter. Then the credits role. Can anybody think of a name?

I didn't even think of that. it does sound a lot like that actually, but this would be different on screen.

lets try and include a ghostly mute child, a bacon slicer, 14 cheerleaders, toxic waste, a vandalised pay phone, surgical equipment, a recently released lifer, a digruntled outcast, heavy metal soundtrack, car brakes that fail and sharp gardening utensils. all in the opening scene:cool:

this reads nicely a little saw"ish" but i think it would keep me in my seat and not thinking "i could make a better movie" like when i watched TOURISTAS the other night.

this reads nicely a little saw"ish" but i think it would keep me in my seat and not thinking "i could make a better movie" like when i watched TOURISTAS the other night.

Just after I thought it up i realized how sawish it would be. Just so you lot know, there would be an old person and a childwho die. just to make it more horrific. And there wouldn't be all this as gruesome as it could get. There would be gore but not a ridiculous amount and the deaths, though inventive would also be quite simple. Oh, and there would have to be a little theme tune played on just the piano with a small amount of brass. There would be metal but the main theme would be that piano one.

A magician , trying to find the most spectacular trick, has a volunteer blast him in the chest with a shotgun, after which he falls backwards through the 4 story window, and splatters on the pavement. The twist at the end is, he threatened his twin brother's family so he would die, so that he, in his blind obsession with fame, would be nationally reknowned for his mysterious survival. (the end of the fil m is him walking into the room and having everyone flip out at him still being *alive*

You know how you play that prank where you have a bucket of water above a door so when somebody comes in it dumps on them? Well this psycho is depressed so he constructs something like that that he can sit on and he kills himself, slicing himself up and bleeding all over. Unfortuanatly, his girlfriend (who he wanted to traumatize) drops something in the hall and her 10 year old comes in only to have a bloody, dead corpse fall on him. That's how it starts, the kid becomes a killer later, lots of eye gore... that is all.
