I once saw a film when I was a very young child and only remember clips of it but would like to know more. All I remember is it looked like it was 70's-80's, it was an 18 and the story i think had a man who went missing, was abducted or killed by aliens and went back home and did some weird stuff. I know there was a clown at one part of the film aswell. I really want to see thins again so, can anybody help?

The first part sounds like XTRO, but I dont remember any clown in it. You better check it and get back here if its the same film.

Yes, I think it is Xtro you're thinking of. There was no clown in it as such, but there was a clown puppet type thing.

Great film - I got it about a year ago on VHS - hadn't seen it for years.

As a warning - don't make the same mistake I did and buy Xtro 2 on the basis of the first one. It's absolutely terrible and had nothing to do with the first apart from the title.

I made my sister watch Xtro, and the midget clown traumatized her.
It's a silly muddled story, but some of the gore is pretty good.

Thanks. I'm almost positive it's the same film. Although I think the front cover was different on the VHS i saw when i first saw it. Thanks for your help guys. Is it worth a buy from ebay?

I dunno about on DVD, but I picked up the VHS for a couple of pounds.

Yeah, I've just done an advanced search on eBay to find out what price it's been going for, and you shouldn't have to pay more than a fiver for it including postage. Well worth it I'd say.

thanks. I've asked on other forums and people just seem to think the explanation is too vague. I think I might buy that.
