Don't know how many of you have heard of this fellow, Robert Pickton, and his brother David, but this is not too far from my house. When I first moved to the Pacific NW they were very active serial killers.

Look for a horror movie based on this. They owned a pig farm. The trial is still going in British Columbia. They murdered primarily prostitutes, cut up the bodies keeping certain parts like skulls, etc., and fed the rest to the pigs which were then made into sausage, etc. When they found these guys I tried desperately to remember if I had eaten any local sausage or had any in Canada on my shopping trips..lol. They found enough evidence to charge him with 27 murders, but the court decided it was unnecesary to pursue all and made it 6 (due to the extensive expense in teh trial and the fact that he'd be in prison for life anyway). He has bragged quite extensively, however, that he had murdered 49 and was very upset that he got caught without making it an even 50.

Welcome to life in the serial killer capital of the world.

OOps...lol. I missed that one, doesn't show on the forum. There are thousands of threads in every forum, but after 30 days they don't appear...So, you just go to the bottom of each forum, look on the left side...Find the drop down for 'From The:'...Then click on 'Beginning'...You'll be able to see ALL of the threads in every forum then (page numbers are on the bottom right)
