After watching the previews for this, I admit I'm curious. I'm a sucker for the catholic church horror films and always like that evil type of thing. This one seems a bit different, the evil is actually coming from god, and I have to admit I have a fear that, like so many movies lately, it's going to degenerate into some kind of preachy, don't be gay and have abortions and this wouldn't happen, drivel. Anybody else getting a different feeling? At least Mel isn't directing so there's some hope that it will just be a 4 horsemen kind of tale.

I can hear the pitch now "it's like seven, but with the 10 plagues - it's 3 better!"

Well this has got me interested. Sounds good to me. It has the same general character, woman loses faith etc etc but it might work due to an interesting plot. I also quite like the religious horror films so will probably check this one out. Shame I couldnt get trailer to work on this silly computer cant wait to get my own computer sorted, will keep looking for trailer.

I am eagerly anticipating the release. I dig the whole wrath of God thing... it does frighten me... I was formerly a hardcore atheist but no longer.

I'm an atheist so this doesn't "scare" me any more than a zombie flick. It does look pretty good, though.

I'm not a believer either, to be honest, but I'm fascinated with the religious good vs. evil movies. I also watch way more of the Secrets of the Bible and all that than most Christians. I find the whole concept absolutely fascinating.

You don't have to be religious to find movies with a religious basis scary. You'd lose Exorcist, Omen, The Prophecy, countless others. I'm looking forward to this one...

Not a believer either. But the trailer looks good. One of my phobias is insects - not spiders. Eight legs is OK, six legs is just horrible. So a plague of locusts is like a real fear factor for me. I can't even watch that Indiana Jones scene with the cockroaches!

Great movie. Loved the twist. Good fx too. She actually looks like a chick in this movie.
