Is it any good? Its associated with Eli Roth, and I didn't think much of Hostel or Cabin Fever. It has Robert 'Kreuger' Englund in it though, which is a good sign.

I loved it, I thought it was fantastic, but thats just my opinion. Everyone has there likes and dislikes and this movie had my likes.

See now I also really liked Hostel and Cabin Fever. Obviously Hostel was no where near as good it was amped up to be what I thought it was a good movie.

P.S.- 2001 Maniacs: Beverly Hellbillys is coming out this year and all the original cast will be in it.

It has a very campy feel to it, and I enjoy it, but I can see why other people would not. Actually my favorite part is Eli Roth's "Grims" cameo.

i hated it. it had the same cheap shitty feel that hoboken hollow had and i hated it. i only bought it without getting some feedback cause it was apparently done by the same people as hostel and cause it had freddy krueger in it. hostel is ten times the movie and freddy krueger was crap. also, the landlady from kingpin was in it and i can't take her seriously after her immortal words 'what is it about great sex that really makes me wanna crap?'. in short, stay well clear of it.

If you're looking for something for a cheesy movie night it's not bad, otherwise stay away.

I thought it was great, I like stupid teens getting hacked, I like creative deaths and I like comedy, I don't like that much else by this director.
I'm sure he once said in an interview he didn't believe in mixing humor with horror, so he must have had a change of heart

It blows. Everything that happens in that movie is one shitty scene after another. Not a redeemable quality to it.

That was my favorite part as well, I laughed my ass off. :D
Other than that part, eh! It was in between, I still don't know what I think of it.

I was wary about the original but checked it out and ended up laughing my ass off. Definitely loved it; Robert Englund was priceless. I think my favorite was the Southern 'Bell' competition. (Wordplay intended, for those who have seen it, lol)

I was definally pleasently suprised by it and they really kept the campy feal of the original..

LOL@ppl criticising a remake of a HG Lewis film as cheap - have u seen any of his stuff....

It was a bit teeny for my tastes but the creative murders and the Johnny Legend cameo more than made up for it...I really wonder what the people who didn't like this fil were expecting..
