A lot of the people I know support particular causes or something. I, for example, obviously support the West Memphis Three (free the West Memphis Three, btw). I care about some stuff like gay marriage and the like, but West Memphis Three is the one I'm really supportive of. Anybody else here got causes?

Are they as grainy and in black and white as footage of the country suggests?

Okay, no more jokes. I'm sorry :(

perhaps this thread should be renamed as 'say something potentially explosive here'. if this counts, i subscribe to pdsa. its a charity that provides essentially public health care for pets (free vets for poor people). also, i have raised money on several projects for marie curie cancer care. i should also mention that i am absolutely opposed to everything the two most popular political parties in N.I. subscribe to. i fucking hate bigots!

I used to be a collector for the child cancer foundation here in NZ.
also Can-Teen...(teenagers with cancer)..
Then i went onto a project called SEMO..
Strengthening Education in Mangere/Otara (our 2 poorest suburbs)
where children from there were given free range to top quality education
including getting companies to sponsor these schools so they could
have access to upgraded computers instead of being held back with
3.0 .

The wife works at the Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse, so we support that one, and we also give to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Nice Slayer! Person after my own heart. I have the above plus NARAL, Planned Parenthood, and Guide Dogs for the Blind. I'm also pretty politically active.
