When you think of the things that happened to the cast of Poltureguist and Exorcist you start to wonder if it's safe to be in a horror movie!

well if your`e acting in a film (if thats what u mean)

it cant really be freaky considering even serious movies people mess lines up and laugh allot and ure probably very calm whilst acting in a horror..

but if u mean 4 real life yeah it would be damn freaky;)

I'd say Signs.

Im nosey as hell and would want to check the aliens out, but wary of those anal probes, so I'd probably just peek through the keyhole......

This thread kind of reminds me of the plot for Wes Cravens New Nightmare...

Anywho, I'd have to say the Friday The 13th movies.

I think being an actor in the Blair Witch Project might have been creppy.

The texas chainsaw massacre. Hearing that big ass chainsaw coming after you to rip your ass up would be freaky enough, but then you get tortued in a basement until you die.

i don't think anything having to do with a movie can scare me but if i had to pick one i'd say friday the 13th at first i was going to say blair witch project but that was'nt like being in the real woods cause they had a perimeter around the whole set but friday the 13th was done in the open woods. but i don't think that would scare me at all either cause i do hunting every now and then and i'm in the woods at night without cameras and lights and i don't get scared.

I believe that Wicked Lady was trying to take this thread in a different direction...During the actual filming of the Exorcist many inexplicable things happened...An inordinate amount of people involved with the movie died during production and shortly afterward...They believed that the movie was cursed...They considered stopping production...Some people bailed out because they were concerned for the well-being of their immortal souls...Things kept breaking, getting moved, disappearing...They had a lot of problems...They were afraid that they were going somewhere that they weren't supposed to go

ow yes, the horror movie curse

well, watch the movie cut! it's about that

it's really scary that they died, at the time of poltergeist i found it weird, but didn't payed to much attention to it, but like the excorsist that shit is freaky

i understand what you're saying and in that case i'd have to say rosemary's baby cause next to actually becoming the devil having his baby has to be the next worse thing.

I'd like to be in Evil Dead II, where it's relatively safe and comical all at the same time...

Non-horror? I'd say Star Wars. Hell-yeah!

They say the movie of Rosemary's Baby was cursed too. Lots of bad stuff happened around the cast and on the set and a year later Polanski's wife, Sharon Tate was murdered.

Apparently a book called "Hollywood Hex" details several movies that seemed to have 'curses' on them.

I liked Wrong Turn.

Movie I'd most like to have been in: Deep Throat

Yeah, that movie's curse was so bad, it made him have sex with some 13 year olds

I loved this movie, you know people like that exist, go in the mountains of Tenn. or anywhere in Mississippi you can find inbred folk.
