Have you heard rumors about the new season of Twin Peaks??
It's suppose to back on TV in April...don't know much else about it.
Anybody out there know more about it??

I never got Twin Peaks. It wasn't that well written or acted. If it comes back, would be nice, maybe I coudl figure out what people loved about it. I haven't heard of anything that it will come back. I know they are showing reruns on the Chiller network on DirectTV.

I loved Twin Peaks. For me, it was one of the best series ever made, and I've watched them all several times. I admired how it broke the formula for a TV episode - ie problem happens, protagonist(s) strive to overcome hurdles, problem solved at end of episode. With Twin Peaks you never knew whether you were 5 minutes into an episode or 5 minutes from the end.
It would be interesting to see what they'd do with a new series. I'd watch it. I would really hope that it would be David Lynch, though. I just think anyone else would be a pale imitation. And I loved his appearance in the series, as Cooper's deaf boss - genius!

Does anyone remember that Twin Peaks "12 Days of Christmas" song they made?
I don't remember all the stuff but instead of "And a patridge in a pear tree," the song had good old Jack Nance saying "And a body, DEAD, wrapped in plastic."

They are not coming out with a new series of Twin Peaks. The series is being reaired this month on the Chiller Network. Twin Peaks Season 2 will be out on DVD April 3rd. Season 1 (minus the pilot) came out last year.
