It's official.....last night I booked my flight to Hawaii:D
My friend actually flew over and suprised me, and she said she was taking me back with her if she had to knock me out and pack me in her suitcase.
So I'm leaving on the 19th for two weeks.
I'm gonna get sunburnt and eat SPAM.
The hardest (and easiest) part is not taking the kids with me.
I haven't been without them since Mordecai was born lol. I won't know what to do with myself.....other than go to the beach and drink a lot of froo-froo drinks with little umbrellas in them.
Yay Hawaii:D :D :D

Yippee!! Enjoy you vacation!!

I want you to try two things when you there...my family is all from/in Hawaii and they introduced me to all kinds of "strange and interesting foods"

1. Spam Musubi. This is a square cake of rice with a slice of Spam fried in soy sauce and sugar--wrapped in seaweed. A sort of sushi-type thing, but no fish in it!

2. Lomi-Lomi Salmon. This is freaky. It's a cold, RAW salmon salad, the salmon is chopped and mixed with onion, tomato and other things. A delicacy.

Great news. You needed a change of atmosphere anyway, what with things going the way they were. Nothing better than to sit back and relax, away from the hustles of every-day life...and more.

Take good care of yourself, and be safe. Enjoy your time, and come back safely.

Vaya con dios, mi chica!

See, that's the beauty of going over with my friend.....I don't have to pay for much of ANYTHING:D

That Spam musubi sounds pretty good....I'll definitely try it LOL
On the beach.
In my bikini.:p

I would take all of you with me if I could. Let me keep playing the lottery, you never know.;)

Oh, and while you're here, I might as well warn you about the Night Marchers. This is quite serious! Night Marchers are the ghosts of Hawaiian royalty. Traditionally, they walk on sacred paths at night. Previously these paths went through undeveloped country. However, over the years, many buildings have gone up directly over these. As a result, some homes are haunted by spectral figures who walk through the area--and through the homes--at night.

Sometimes they are seen, sometimes only heard. Other common manifestations include the sounds of drums, or tribal chanting, coming from within the walls of a home. It is considered wise to avoid Night Marchers if you should become aware of their approach.

We have those over here too.....only we call them "dirty hippie neighbors" LOL

That's a pretty cool story.....I'm going to be staying on Maui, up on the side of a volcano. Hopefully those dead guys ate too much pork while alive for their ghosts to make it that far up the hill.
I hope, anyway.
That would be my luck, to go away for a much needed vacation only to be set upon and beaten by a bunch of dead people because I ridiculed their SPAM.:p

where are you leaving the kids? Hope youhave fun. Go to one of the bit's that doesn't smell and when you hear people talking saying "aloha", try and work out if they mean hello or goodbye.
