Scanners Remake.

David Cronenberg's Scanners is going to get the remake treatment.Darren Lynn Bousman(Saw II/III)will direct with David Goyer(Blade)doing the writing.
What does everybody think?
I liked the original and personally i think this is one movie that could really be improved upon by an updated version,with the technological advances that have been made in the last 26 years the plot could really be expanded and improved,with Bousman Directing and Goyer Writing i'm pretty optimistic.

As long as they don't use CGI for the exploding head scene I won't mind a remake.

Cronenberg is so unique... I don't know if anybody else can match his unique style.
