Which of the four "Dead" movies by Romero is your favorite? And what order would you put them in?

I've yet to see Day of the Dead, but I liked the other three. I guess I liked the original Dawn of the Dead the most,(even with the horrible green make-up:p ) though I enjoyed the remake very much. Romero didn't have anything to do with the remake, did he?

Dawn of the Dead is by far my favorite. I like most of them expecially the older ones. Some of the new ones that came out on television or in the movies (remakes and such) were not as good... Though I will admit Land of the Dead was entertaining.

I have seen only the first 3, I am fixing to go watch Land, and then I will post my favorite.
So far, 'Day' is in the lead.

Dawn, then Night, then Day, then Land.
Land was disappointing IMO. The other 3 are awesome.

Dawn & Night are extremely close, but Dawn has more gore so I like that one a little bit more. Day is right up there as well, but I'd rank it 3rd. Land is a distant, distant 4th.

Yea...I agree.
Land wasn't really up to par with the rest of the series. I really expected more out of it. The whole atmosphere just seemed wrong.

Dawn of the Dead, in my opinion, is by far the best of the three-well, I guess four. It's campy, gruesome, hilarious, gory, scary. I would even go so far as to say it was an epic among horror movies. Easily the best for me.
Then comes Night of the Living Dead close on Dawn's tail. Night is a lot more serious, and a bit scarier, and much more of a landmark in horror history.
Then Day of the Dead, which is a powerful vision by Romero. Bub, no matter what people say, was an enormously cunning addition to the series, and Day was able to switch things up a bit.
Land of the Dead blew, I don't even consider it part of the series. I'm still livin' la vida trilogy.

Night of the Living Dead is my favorite horror film. Unrelentingly stark and inventive, it plays like newsreel footage, giving it a sense of veritae that doesn't exist in most horror. It helped solidify the "midnight movie" movement of the late sixties (which started with El Topo.) It created the entire "zombie" genre as we know it and the way it ends still sends shivers up my spine.
This is one of 2 or 3 films that still scares me every time.
I love Dawn. It's wonderfully satirical and has outstanding gore, but the blue make-up on the dead looks awful and takes me out of the movie.
Day is great. The dream with the hands coming through the walls makes me jump every time.
Land had good ideas, but its structure cannot support the weight of the themes of the film and suffers from looking as though it's trying too hard.

Couldnt pick a favourite if I wanted to, they're all great for different reasons.
1. Night/Dawn/Day - three way tie.
2. Land - Good movie, but not on par with the rest.
