is this worth buying? the review on the top 100 lesser known horrors on this site said not to watch as you won't like it but if you do you'll provoke serious weird nightmarish feelings. since i read this i can't stop thinking about it.

There's no guarantee you're going to have nightmares and crap just cause of it. That's just trying to entice you. Kind of like how Hostel is "The scariest film in a decade"

is this worth buying? .

Not if you ask me...

But worth a view. Yes.

Definitely not a movie for all tastes.

Yeah, I wrote the blurb and you won't like it.It isn't worth the money to buy it.

Rent it or download it if you can, but I wouldn't buy it.

fair enough. its just intriguing to come across a movie you haven't heard of that is 'fucked up'. i think i will bump it way down the list for now. just below the keep. i can't get that movie from my usual site, is it worth pursuing?

I have heard of this, though have never seen it. It is definitely an experimental film first and a horror movie second. I would see it just to see it, but buying it probably not. It doesn't seem like the type of material you can just watch over and over. It's heavy material and there is no dialogue.

Here is a review:

I also heard the Marilyn Manson's video for Cryptorchid (which I'm sure is on YouTube) has extensive footage from the movie interspersed with himself in scenes designed to look as if they came from the Begotten.
