can someone tell me what horror film this is? I remember it from when I was very young, but have never been able to find out what it is...
All i know is that it is about a family trapped in a house where all sorts of weird shit is going on... they realise they cannot leave the house (all the doors/windows are sealed or bricked up). I vaguely remember a scene with a flying chainsaw and the family car. It turns out that the entire family are actually trapped inside a child's doll house.
any ideas?

I saw the movie you are talking about and all that I can remember is that it is horrendously bad! The dollhouse was in the living room of a "real" house, and the acting was putrid? I wish I knew the title! Can anyone help for real?

Is this that Hammer TV movie with the fireplace that is oozing this strange sludge all through the movie, and in the end we find out that it's the giant kid's popsicle that's been stuck in the fireplace melting? If so, someone came in and asked about this one once before...

Yes, I recall this scene in the film... ashame nobody has been able to name it yet! it had the production values of a TV film... unless it was a Twilight Zone episode?? I'm pretty sure it was a full-length (or TV) film though.

"Child's Play" was a made-for-TV movie, 1985.
It was part of the "Hammer House of Mystery and Suspense" series.
