i have been getting mine from play.com for a while. before that i bought them from a store called hmv in the u.k. shortly after joining play.com i realised hmv were ripping me off. for example oldboy was £19.99 in hmv but was £4.99 on play. i do of course realise that this is largely my own fault for not bothering to shop around but perhaps a thread where the knowledgeable can share their sources with the ill-educated wouldn't go amiss. not just by giving the websites where the bargains are but also which are the full versions of movies and the companies that produce them. i've started to realise that my 'banned' versions of movies are actually just vipco's vault of (soft and fluffy, slightly abrasive but at least the really horrible shit was cut) horrors.

You pointed me to that site long ago and I use it all the time now. Very handy.

Anyway, I use www.DeepDiscount.com.

Eb Games almost always has 3 for 10$ sales. That's where I go weekly.

Yeah, I use DeepDiscountDVD for anything I know I'm not going to find used at Blockbuster/Hollywood/Movie Gallery.

Almost anything new I wait until the video store puts on pre-viewed. Movie Gallery has Buy 2, Get 2 free sales all of the time. As long as you keep the receipts, they have a lifetime warranty as well. As far as online, with pricematch & free shipping, you almost can't beat DeepDiscount. There are a few obscure things you can't find there, so if I absolutely have to have it, I use Amazon as a last resort and make sure to order over $25 worth so I get their free shipping option.

The only bad thing about that is a lot of times those cheap prices are from the Market Place. I've had some bad problems with some of the Market Place sellers, and the majority of them don't offer free shipping.
