I don't expect to get much of a response from you gorehounds....but what would you consider a "Romantic" movie. [Bloodrayne's gonna have a hard time with this one]
"Somewhere in Time" is my pick for a romantic evening.

Some of the asian sword films can be romantic, where the Hero saves the day and rescues his prize :)

The Princess Bride is always a good true love movie.
Though Valentine's Day is kind of a sucky holiday because it's for couples only.
I remember when I was single on Valentine's Day, it makes you feel lonely and crappy. I'm attached this year, so it's okay, but I always remember all the ones where I wasn't.
I think the best holidays are Halloween and Christmas.

I enjoy this very short film on Valentines day. It's sort of cynical, but precious and something you can watch with the kids. Very short, so that you can get on with your day.

Thank you. I thought that I was the only one in the bunch that watched the sagas of Germain and her unforgettable pet squirrel.

Oh yeah. I was having a crappy Christmas one year and clicked on that, and it cheered me right up. I called up a friend who had recently been dumped and who was also feeling blue, and said "go see this cartoon! you'll feel better" and it worked on her too!
I like the way Germaine "enjoys" the chocolate. I wish I enjoyed chocolate that much~!
