View Full Version : How Many Members Do We REALLY Have?

bloodrayne

So...According to the forum stats, we have 10,502 Members and 414 Active Members...Umm...Yeah...Just like we have SIX moderators...Riiiight...

Anyway...I'm thinking we've really got about 50 (actual, regularly posting) members...Is that about right?...Maybe a little less?

Now that I think about it...What do you guys consider to be a REAL member?...I'd say someone who posts at LEAST once a month...How's that?

Wouldn't it be creepy if it turned out to just be me, pretending to be all these other screen names. hahaha

BR + bwind22 = 2 at least

HaHa...I actually HAVE thought about that...Like, what if there were only 2 members, and 1 wasn't aware that the other was ALL of the others...Kinda surreal...
i think there are about 20 contributing members ... and ... a lot of something else..
Yeah...People keep saying that we should have more moderators for a 'forum this size'...But...I think this is really a relatively small forum...

we should all take lessons from OCM Dave on how
to become a role model for all members

Let's try to make a list of those who post regularly. I won't go into those who actually 'contribute' because I (for once) don't feel like starting any shit. Rules are you have to have been here for at least a few months and post at least a few times a week.

I'm going by people who have been here at least 5-6 months. Help me out, I know there are some I'm forgetting.

And before anyone says it, yes I will always make a list for anything you ask about. Making lists by committee is like crack to me:p

Hey, I've actually heard of that...People who are compulsive list makers...I'm not kidding either...They're usually very organized people...It's kinda interesting

It's a form of OCD. I think I have at least a mild case. I feel the need to make lists, I have a bad habit of constantly alphabetizing video games, books, DVDs & CDs. It's funny, because other than certain things like that, I'm one of the most disorganized people in the world.

Yeah...Uhh...I didn't wanna say that...lol

It's ok. It isn't bad enough that it affects my life negatively. I'm also one of those people that urge was talking about in another thread. I have to check a door 4-5 times to make sure it's locked or it'll bother me. I also have to check for my wallet and my keys at least that many times before I leave the house.

bloodrayne

i try to do that - but its not a compulshion .. its the only way i can find anythingSame here...But...The kids keep messing them up

Fortunately, we only have to separate them into a couple of categories...Horror Movies and Kid's Movies...

The kids keep their movies in their rooms, except for the movies that aren't theirs specifically and are for all of the kids...Those fill up 2 sides of the cabinet in the entertainment center...

We have TONS of horror movies on the bookcases in the livingroom, and our bedroom is FILLED with horror movies, too...The kids also have a lot of horror movies in their personal collections as well, especially Alex...We just don't have enough ROOM for all of these...

Seri left a 7ft tall, 4ft wide, 2-door cabinet here, I talked her into letting me keep it and fill it up with the horror movies in my bedroom...I can at least keep THOSE alphabetized...

Dustin says we'll eventually have to line an entire wall (floor to ceiling) in the livingroom with bookshelves...I just wish I would have been able to build my media library...*sigh*

Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia is actually the fear of long words.

I have an OCD. If I go anywhere I have to check I have everything several times or I start panicking and have to go back. I also have to check doors. I think it's more afear of losing anything than just something I do.

Not yet. I haven't been home long enough to watch them yet.

I was also curious, since you have such amazing computer skills, maybe you would know, is there a way to rip the vocals out of songs and leave all the music intact?

thanks for the compliment...as for ripping out only the vocals to keep the music...this is almost impossible since there are often only two tracks (stereo) made out of alot of tracks...so you got to have the original tracks which is maybe 16 tracks..then take away the vocal track....maybe F.B.I have some special sound equipment to do it ?...I'm not sure if any pc software can do it so that it sounds okey...you can do some things in wavelab

Hmmmm.....Is there a program that could turn the volume of just the vocals down a little bit so you can record over it? I've done it with Windows Media Player, but I'm wanting to record over a song just to see how my vocals sound, and media player won't let me record like that.
