I watched it on cable and.......IMO.....It was SUCKY. ;)

I really wanted to like this movie, and then I ended up sleeping over it (something I almost never do) when I rented it...

Solaris was great! It makes you think a bit, which is always a good thing.

I highly reccomend seeing the original and the Clooney remake as companion films. They are a bit slow, but they're good, solid films.

You don't necessarily need to see the original first, but you owe it to yourself to see one if you see the other. If that made sense.

I don't know, I hired it when it was overnight rental and fell asleep halway through and never saw the end, so , I just don't know.

I really liked the remake, but I know people are going to pound lumps on me for admitting this... It is very psychological, but not that complex. Really it is pretty basic with one twist at the end. Thumbs up.
