I read recently that Brian Yuzna's shocker Society may be getting a sequel. It's entitled Society II: Body Modifications. Society is one of the most gruesome films I've ever seen but I'm not sure if I'm excited about a sequel. It's been about 14 years since the original came out. That makes me nervous.
That time lapse is reminding me of another recent abomination The Hitcher 2. The original Hitcher is a great film and didn't need a sequel. Why did they make that film some 15 years later?

Because Jake Busey was bored? I loved the Hitcher, and I want to see the second one, even though my hopes aren't very high.
Society was such an oddball film that it was sure to be a cult film, which it barely is (no disrespect intended) so the idea of a sequel is strange, but I would see it.

about an upper class group that are weird ass creatures... they eat humans.. It is okay and maybe a sequel woudnt be so bad...

I love that part.. you know it kind of reminded me of this scene in Terrorvision where the parents are in bed with that other couple and grandpa pops his head up out of the covers.. they were all covered in slim and shit.. funny stuff.. LOL

Society might have disturbed me..but after the first one I have a high expectation for the second one.. I think I might need a second dose of corruption:D
